Access to Databases

Go to:  https://www.openathens.net/
In the “Login to Athens” window on the left side of the screen, enter the following information:
Username: jam + identity number, that is, your identity number without leading zeroes immediately after the “jam” in lower case letters.

Password:
New accounts - Password should have 8 characters at least that must include numbers, letters and additional symbols
Old accounts (opened until November 2014) -  password is the same as the username

Choose a database from the “resources” tab at the top of the screen.

The following database resources are presently available:
1.       Grove Encyclopedia of Dance;
2.       Journals, including a partial collection (including music and dance) from JSTOR;
3.       Bibliographical databases that can refer you to print sources in music from Hebrew
          publications and RILM;
4.       You can view:  Proxied operate in video and proxied dance in video;
5.       You can listen to:  NAXOS – main collection (mostly classic but some ethnic); jazz collection,
          proxied classical music library (generally better performances but a more limited repertoire);
6.       Proxied musical scores online;
7.       Articles on dance.
