General Information
The Student Support Unit operates under the Office of the Dean of Students. The unit’s mission is to provide guidance, assistance, and support to students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD), accessibility challenges, and other difficulties throughout their academic studies.
The unit offers an inclusive, supportive, and understanding environment for students facing a variety of challenges. It is guided by the belief that through professional support—such as counseling, guidance, and ongoing assistance—students can strengthen their academic skills, develop independent learning abilities, and fully realize their potential.
The unit is located in the New Wing, Floor 0, Room 018.
Office Hours
Sundays and Thursdays, 08:00–15:00, by prior appointment.
Services Provided
The unit offers a range of services tailored to students’ needs, including:
- Provision of exam accommodations and evaluation of their effectiveness
- Study skills guidance and time management strategies
- Peer mentoring program (“Student-to-Student”), offering individualized academic support in courses
Please note:
After receiving approval for exam accommodations from the Head of the Unit, students may independently download their official accommodation approval document via the Student Portal.
Important Information Regarding Exam Accommodations
Students with learning disabilities, attention disorders, medical-related learning difficulties, or emotional-related learning challenges who require exam accommodations must schedule an intake consultation with the Support Center.

Students whose native language is not Hebrew and who are not graduates of the Israeli state education system are entitled to a 25% time extension on exams.
New immigrants (up to 7 years from their date of immigration) are entitled, for the duration of their degree studies, to:
- A 25% time extension on exams
- Consideration for spelling errors
- Use of a dictionary
